What do you like about working in a physiotherapy clinic?
Lachlan finds fulfillment in the opportunity to help individuals grasp the intricacies of their injuries, offering them not just treatment, but also education and guidance to navigate their rehabilitation journey. By listening attentively to their needs and aspirations, he collaborates with them to develop tailored management plans aimed at facilitating their return to the activities they love. This dynamic environment allows him to make a meaningful impact on his clients' lives, fostering a sense of purpose and satisfaction in his work.
Work Philosophy:
Lachlan approaches every injury that comes his way with dedication, but his particular interests lie in lower limb injuries, particularly those affecting the knee and ankle. He also takes pleasure in addressing sport-related injuries, with a special focus on rugby union and basketball. This tailored approach allows him to provide comprehensive care and support to his clients, ensuring they receive the specialized treatment they need to return to their optimal physical condition.
Outside of work:
Originally hailing from Wodonga, Victoria, I've called Maitland home for over 15 years. I earned my bachelor's degree in Newcastle before pursuing my Masters in Sydney. During the week, you'll often find me playing basketball or hitting the gym, and I proudly support the St George Illawarra Dragons in my spare time.
