What do you like about working in a physiotherapy clinic?
I love being surrounded by like-minded individuals who share my passion for physio and helping others, and I genuinely look forward to coming into work every day, knowing I’m supported by my amazing colleagues who always have my back. The sense of community we have, both within our team and with our patients, is something I value deeply, as it creates a safe space for vulnerability, which is so important in physio.
Work Philosophy:
I thrive on celebrating my patients' achievements, big or small, as it’s the most rewarding part of my job and allows me to build meaningful relationships and memories with each one. I especially love helping athletes and sporting individuals, whether they're competing at the highest level or simply enjoy sports for fun. I find it fulfilling to understand how an injury impacts someone's daily life, and together with my patients, we work as a team to overcome these challenges. Working with rugby league and other team sport athletes is especially rewarding, as it's incredible to see them return to doing what they love!
Outside of work:
I love walking and playing with my 5-month-old Aussie Shepherd, Willa, especially taking her to the beach! I'm a CrossFit lover, competing both individually and in teams, and I really appreciate the supportive community and lifelong friendships I've made through it. I'm also a sucker for a good romance novel, and while I enjoy running and walking, I tend to run alone so others don’t hear how puffed I get (though it's a work in progress)!
