Rachael Billingham

Physiotherapist

Rachael graduated from the University of Newcastle.

During her studies she worked as a sports trainer for a first-grade football team in the Hunter, where she gained valuable experience in acute injury management. She also developed her rehabilitation skills working alongside neurological clients in the home. These experiences have grown Rachael’s passion for getting people back to their everyday activities.

Outside of work Rachael enjoys tennis and touch football, but is always keen to try something new- currently this includes soccer and surfing.

While Rachael herself enjoys sports she understands not all people are the same and is able to tailor treatments appropriately.

Johanna Kennard

Physiotherapist

Jo graduated from the University of Newcastle after moving here from her home town of Wollongong. She liked it in the Hunter so much she decided to stay.

Jo has experience working in the hospital environment with rehab patients to improve their outcomes and teaching anatomy at the University. She is passionate about working alongside people to help them understand their injury and recover well so they can get back to being active and doing what they love in life. Jo enjoys treating people from all walks of life, those who dislike sport to those who compete at a high level of sport.

Jo is a keen runner but loves getting outside regardless of the activity. She is also a team sport enthusiast, especially netball and basketball, which she plays whenever she gets the chance!

Tim Paine

Physiotherapist

Tim graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2011 with a First Class Honours in Physiotherapy. Since then he has always worked in private practice in the Hunter region.

Tim has previous experience with both the Newcastle Knights and Jets but also with Hunter Valley Grammar Rowing and various other local sports clubs. He has also worked extensively in orthopaedic rehabilitation with a number of local surgeons.

His real passion is getting everyone out doing what they want to be doing, whether it’s sport, work or fun, the goal is to enjoy life.

Tim has previously played and coached football but is currently doing his own rehabilitation following knee surgery.

Ryan Profile Picture

Ryan Kennedy

Physiotherapist

Ryan graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2007. He returned to Vancouver, Canada where he began his private practice Musculoskeletal career.

During his career Ryan has worked with people from all walks of life from the stay-at-home parent or grandparent, to the athletes of all skill levels including the weekend warrior and professional. He has worked with injured workers, that sit at a desk most of the days to those who swing tools for a living.  Ryan enjoys working with people from all age groups, sporting and non-sporting to achieve a quick but enduring solution to acute and chronic injuries.

Ryan is a keen cyclist who enjoys ice hockey and has played state level water polo.
